But it's still a problem, if what Nikkari said about it is true. [ just not one they understand much, yet. ] Do you think the one carrying it really will die if they don't sleep with someone? Besides the rule to keep the demons satisfied, that is.
It's hard to say. I'm not sure if the compulsion can even be resisted—it seems like it'd be too easy in that case. There are plenty of us willing to die to protect others, I suspect.
The problem is that there's no real advantage to making it public, regardless of their intentions. If they want to pass it on, they're not going to warn anyone else. If they don't, then there's incentive to keep it to yourself so that no one will try to save you.
Then we could try asking again, but I don't expect everyone here to be truthful about it. It may be better to ask Chuuya if there is a way to fix it. I'm not seeing many other options.
He's not. But he's still getting information we need, so if we want to minimize the risk and better our chances of winning against the demons, we still have to work with him. It's just a matter of finding a way to keep him on task.

I don't suppose you'd know who that is now?

Junpei knew who had it a few days ago, but even then, we acknowledged it was likely it had already been passed on by the time he told me.

[ he sighs. ]
Then we're getting nowhere.

How did you all learn about it, and track it, anyway?

I don't know how Junpei's been tracking it, though I'd assume he's just been asking people.

He'll be disappointed. I'm not interested in someone like him.

For most people, there's a way to convince them to cooperate. All we have to do is find out how.
...But even so, I expect Chuuya to be more willing to help us all.

Chuuya's a proactive kind of person, from what I can tell.

Right. We're lucky to have someone like him on our side. Carlos was the only other one that seemed like he actually wanted to help us.
